Ryan Carter comes with 20+ years experience of building brands, relationships and unique consumer experiences across sports, lifestyle and entertainment businesses.
Most recently, Ryan consulted with brands and agencies helping elevate brand communication, and integrating marketing teams to deliver and more consistent and powerful brand message. Prior to that Ryan was based in Chicago and led an MKTG team there on the creative and strategic side with Nike, Gatorade, Beats, Dicks Sporting Goods and the NCAA, growing their businesses across client while also creating deep and meaningful cultural changes for the agency.
The agency side of the business was a challenge Ryan turned to tackle after seven years with Nike where he led brand category teams in Running, Women’s Training and Digital Sport. There Ryan spearheaded the Nike and Chicago Marathon partnership, leading the brand’s only such relationship in North America. Also while at Nike, Ryan drove new, unique business relationships with the University of Texas, Ohio State and the Chicago Park District.
Throughout his career, Ryan worked with athletes ranging from marathoners to NBA All-stars and back to high school cross country teams. The constant always remained Ryan listened to the voice of the athlete and always drew unique and distinct campaigns or engagements from these athlete interactions.
